giO media is an established inflight media company, operating from Haarlem, the Netherlands. The company was established in 2009 and also ran an office in Dubai, UAE, until May 2016. The company is privately owned by two partners, both with years of experience in sales and marketing.
giO media's main operations include the sole and exclusive sales of commercial advertising and story-telling concept opportunities throughout the inflight media portfolio of KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, including its award-winning inflight magazine Holland Herald, the airline's onboard interactive video entertainment and the KLM Crown Lounges at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. In Q3 2018, the ad sales for KLM's frequent flyer magazine Flying Dutchman will be added to our portfolio.
For Transavia, a fully owned subsidiary of KLM and part of the Air France-KLM group, giO media is expected to soon start selling various branding opportunities through its cloud entertainment system, a new form of inflight media advertising.
Within the Netherlands markets, giO media also holds the exclusive representation rights for selling inflight media advertising on board other well-known airlines, including Emirates, Cathay Pacific, Austrian Airlines, Swiss International, SAS Scandinavian Airlines, China Southern, Kenya Airways, Ethiopian Airlines, Jet Airways and Qantas. In addition, we sell various airport advertising and branding opportunities globally.
